Congratulations to Grade 12 student Tucker!Rotary Club Presents Student of the Month Award
The Rotary Club of Duncan presented its September Student of the Month Award to Tucker Klassen from the Duncan Christian School. Tucker is in Grade 12. For the past three years, Tucker has served on the Chapel Leadership team at the school, leading with enthusiasm and authenticity. Tucker’s teammates and coaches have high praise for him as one of the strongest encouragers on their teams, genuinely excited when others exceed.
During his free time, Tucker spends his time helping out in the community at a kid’s camp and lifeguarding whenever needed.
And demonstrating a unique leadership skill, Tucker started his Grade 12 year by asking his classmates to hold him accountable, and challenging his classmates to make a difference in their school this year.
The Rotary Club of Duncan is proud to name Tucker Klassen as the September Student of the Month. President Karen Thorington and Student-of-the Month Co-ordinator Julie Peters made the presentation of the award to Tucker, accompanied by Education Assistant Christine Harder.
Established in 1930, the Duncan Rotary Club consists of people just like you that are looking for ways to give back to our community and enrich the lives of those in need.
